Finished product

I am now finished with editing fully and have exported it and am waitng for it to be marked.

editing+paperwork

Today i have started editing my advert and realise that the overall thing might be too long, but i'm being hopeful that i get to incorporate all of my favourite shots. For the part of the advert where Kyra is going crazy i have decided to use the drop instrumental of Lady Gaga's song "Swine".
Today i also did my edit logs and camera script, these were quite easy to do because i shot my advert in order of the story board anyway.

Shooting

i booked out my equipment for the 5th of June and would have it through the weekend. I wanted to film it on the Friday because that was the only day the weather forecast didn't sound depressing. My location was a big field in Trefforest. when filming there there were no major problems, just stuff like wonky tripod but overall it ran smoothly.

casting

For my advert i want 3 people to be included. A main character (female) and 2 side characters, i have decided to go with the picnic shoot because the weather has gotten hot so i think it will look better outside.
My main girl is going to be Kyra Morris. I have chosen her because she is reliable and i know she will give it her best because she was the star in my music video.
They all had to have their parents sign consent forms.

Pitching my idea to the class

A part of this project is the pitch. This is when i will have to make a presentation for the class selling my idea for my advert to them. For this, you could do a mood board with your ideas  and stuff on it with pictures to illustrate your vision. I chose to do a powerpoint presentation. I had 4 slides. one slide with my hellmanns poster on it and a bit about Hellmann's.
Another slide saying what i would have to advertise and target audience etc..

and a final slide about the ASA who are the people who say what can and can't be shown.

Writing a proposal

This is my proposal. It took me about 45 minutes to write and it is saying what my advert is going to be for (hellmann's), how i am going to do it, my idea, characters and time management.

Making a poster

For this project i had to create a poster for my advert. I wanted to make something simple with a less is more kind of feel. I wanted to have a table in the fore front of the poster with the Mayonnaise bottle on it and then a kitchen in the background blurred out. I think i pulled it off well but i could make the bottle look less blurry around the edges, it's quite annoying to look at.

Choosing an advert+idea

In this project i have numerous things i could advertise like KFC, chewing gum, slimfast, hellmann's etc. I think i will go with hellmann's because i think it will be an easier advert to pull off and i think i have some cool ideas for it, also for things like KFC the target audience is 'blokes' which i think would be difficult getting a bloke to be in my advert.
in the brief for hellmann's it says i have to create a 30 second advertisement promoting Hellmann's mayonnaise squeezy bottle. 
My target audience is modern, free thinkers who love 'real' food.
I've come up with an idea where my main character (who will be female) is having a picnic or getting her packed lunch for school and she looks in her sandwich and it's plain ham or something but then she spots the mayonnaise and puts it into her sandwich and as she takes a bite her face goes crazy and loud fast music starts playing and she starts dancing on the field or in the kitchen, throwing salad stuff around and then the music cuts and she turns around with lettuce in her hair and her parents or her friends are just staring at her, she does an embarrassed laugh and then it ends with an in focus shot of the mayonnaise with something blurred in the background.
